2. Die Forging

2.1 Features: Metal is formed under pressure within a fixed-shape die cavity, achieving highly precise, complex shapes.

2.2 Applications:

Automotive: Connecting rods, crankshafts, steering knuckles, camshafts, gears, and other critical safety and structural components.

Aerospace: Aircraft landing gear, turbine discs, engine blades, fuselage load-bearing frames, etc. These parts are often forged using isothermal forging.

General Machinery: Pump bodies, valves, tools, etc.

3. Special Forging Processes

3.1 Isothermal Forging/Hot Die Forging: The die is heated to the same temperature as the blank. This method is suitable for complex, precision forgings made of difficult-to-deform materials such as titanium alloys, aluminum alloys, and high-temperature alloys, primarily in the aerospace industry.

3.2 Multi-Directional Die Forging: By applying pressure simultaneously or sequentially from multiple directions, complex hollow parts with holes or recessed or concave surfaces can be formed in one go, such as high-pressure valves and tees.

3.3 Extrusion: Used to produce long, straight profiles, tubes, and bars.
