1. Typical Structure (Three-directional as an example)

1.1 Main Vertical Cylinder (Up/Down Direction): Provides the main clamping force and axial pressing force. The upper crossbeam is usually movable.

1.2 Lateral Horizontal Cylinders (Left/Right Direction): Apply pressure from one or two horizontal directions for forming features such as spoke hole seats and lateral bosses.

1.3 Auxiliary Vertical Cylinders or Mandrel Cylinders (Center Direction): Push upwards from the bottom or inside of the mold, or drive the central mandrel to form complex internal cavities.

1.4 Precision Mold System: The core of the core. Usually composed of multiple mold cores, which open, close, and combine under the drive of multiple cylinders to form complex forming cavities. The mold design is extremely complex and expensive.

1.5 Multi-layer frame: An exceptionally robust prestressed frame to withstand enormous asymmetrical forces from multiple directions, ensuring precision.

1.6 Advanced control system: Employing multi-channel servo hydraulics and PLC/CNC control, precisely coordinating the pressure, position, speed, and timing of each cylinder, ensuring repeatability and precision of the molding process.

2. Main workflow (taking a carbon fiber wheel hub as an example)

2.1 Material laying: Placing pre-cut carbon fiber prepreg or preforms into the lower mold cavity.

2.2 Mold closing: The main vertical cylinder drives the upper mold downwards, initially closing the mold.

2.3 Multi-directional (three-directional) pressurization:

Horizontal cylinders push the lateral mold cores in, extruding and forming the spoke hole seats and side contours.

The center mandrel may move simultaneously to ensure the size and shape of the hub's center hole.

Pressure in all directions is maintained at high temperature (if curing) for a certain period of time.

2.4 Mold Opening: Each hydraulic cylinder retracts in a precise sequence, and the mold opens.

2.5 Part Removal: The formed integrated wheel hub blank is removed for subsequent cleaning and painting.
